Who We Are
Adaptation for Smallholders in Hilly Areas (ASHA) Project is an undertaking of Ministry of Forests and Environment (MoFE), Nepal with the financial support of International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). This is a six-year climate change adaptation project effective from 26 February 2015.
What We Do
The ASHA Project intends to support vulnerable smallholders to improve their climate resilience through grants disbursement to communities and households, as well as through climate-centric knowledge dissemination and capacity development.
Where We Work
The ASHA Project has been implementing its programs in seven mid-western districts of Nepal namely, Dailekh, Kalikot, Salyan, East Rukum, West Rukum, Jajarkot and Rolpa as these districts are most vulnerable to climate change due to social, economical and geographical factors.
